USS England (DE-635) - chilling out in the blue lagoon

Finished today my model of the ultimate sub hunter, the destroyer escort USS England. Shown here at anchor in Palau, in early 1945. Built using the Trumpeter kit and Five Star Models upgrade set, and painted in Measure 21 camouflage to which some weathering was added. The sea base was my first attempt to use 2 part resin. Happy with the result, although there is still a lot ot learn.
