Six turning, four burning, a lot of filling, sanding and masking
Finally over the line is my B-36D, built from the Roden kit with Caracal decals. This model represents "MIss Featherweight" (01086), a B-36 based at Carswell AFB in the early 50's.
What started with the plan of as a quick and relaxing build escalated into a six month battle with all sorts of fitting issues, compounded by my inexperience with metallic paints. Glad to call this one done...
